The Notice of Appraised Value is the letter your appraisal district mails each spring showing what it believes your property is worth. In Texas these typically arrive in April.
It’s the trigger for your appeal: the deadline is usually May 15, or 30 days after the notice was delivered, whichever is later. Read it as soon as it arrives — the clock starts on delivery.
